Bigjigs Toys is bolstering its toy team with the addition of two new staff members.

Sam Best recently joined the firm as stock controller, having previously worked at Hornby Hobbies, as well as other roles in the toy and hobby industry.

Best said: “I am thoroughly enjoying the Bigjigs experience so far. I really wanted to join a business where I could hit the ground running and begin to make a difference straight away, which I hope I am doing.

“With a big product range and suppliers all over the world, there are certainly plenty of challenges to keep me busy. First impressions are that there is a huge amount of potential here and a great team of people to take the company in the right direction.”

Elsewhere, Danielle Finn has been appointed to the position of management accountant, after returning from maternity leave.

Prior to her role at Bigjigs Toys, Finn worked for Magnox Ltd and Brakes, as well as Towergate Insurance as a finance analyst.

Finn added: “I have been looking forward to becoming part of the Bigjigs team and hope that I can benefit my knowledge, and share the knowledge I have brought with me.”
