Ashley Mady joins Women in Toys as board president

Women in Toys has appointed Ashley Mady, president of Brandberry, as its new board president, succeeding Joan Luks, president of The Serenata Group, who served as board president for three and a half years.

Women in Toys provides its members with a collaborative, empowering environment through 'shared resources, industry connections and extensive networking opportunities to foster professional growth and career enrichment'.

“I am honoured to serve as president of WIT and look forward to connecting with each of our members," said Mady.

“Our industry is teeming with smart, strong and talented women, and I’m excited for the opportunity to work together and take WIT to new heights.

"Our new committees have refined and strengthened our organisation, and I encourage others to get involved, join a committee, and take advantage of everything WIT has to offer.”

Other new appointments include Stephanie Barone, VP of product development for Innovative Designs, as treasurer; Caitlin Gutekunst, senior manager of content acquisition and business development at LeapFrog, as regional chapter chair; Jennifer Quattrock, independent design contractor, as design chair, and Mali Baum, CEO of Beezeebee, as chair of international chapters.
