Global toy maker Hasbro has detailed the first swathe of Yo Kai Watch toys to land in the US next year.

Inspired by the hit Japanese videogame and animated series franchise, Yo Kai Watch began airing on Disney XD earlier this week.

The firm is now expecting to see the US success of the brand echo that in Japan, fuelled by the extensive new toy line.

‘A pop cultural phenomenon in Japan, Yo Kai watch is poised to make a big splash in the US with a videogame from Nintendo and a full toy line from Hasbro hitting shelves in January,’ read a statement firm the firm.

Among the first Yo Kai Watch products to land in the US next year is the Yo Kai Watch wrist watch, Yo Kai Watch Medal Mystery Bag Assortment featuring a surprise assortment of YO Kai Watch character medals.

A Yo Kai Medallium Collection Book will also feature, alongside Yo Kai Medallium Collection Book Pages and Yo Kai Watch Medal Momemtns Assortments.

Meanwhile, Yo Kai Watch plush figures will stand at five inch each, while the Yo Kai Watch Mood Reveal Figures can glow in the dark.

The range is completed with the Yo Kai Watch Converting Figures Assortment.

Away from toys however, and the Yo Kai Watch Yo Kai Land app has launched available on iOS and Android.

The new app allows kids and fans to explore the world of Yo Kai Watch, read up on characters’ bios in the Wiki, bring characters to life and unlock bonus features with toy medals.
