Live on screen now, the campaign includes a new ad showing kids how to join the 'Human Defence Force’ against the Electronic Test Tube Aliens.

As a key part of the campaign Wowwee UK appointed Turner Media Innovations to run a seven-week webdrive promotion on Cartoon Network.

On air until the end of March, the promotion will deliver 225 TVRs and will be supported by an online campaign delivering 900,000 impressions.

Turner Media Innovations has created a 20” webdrive spot driving kids to a microsite hosted at www.cartoonnetwork.co.uk, where they can learn how to hatch and keep the aliens alive in a ‘pre-interrogation holding pen’ mini-game.

Once they have played the game, children are invited to enter a competition for the chance to win a set of aliens and a laptop.

Rachel Honess, senior sponsorship and promotions executive, Turner Media Innovations, said: "Working with Wild Planet on such an interesting project has been terrific fun.

"We are confident that this highly targeted campaign will appeal to Cartoon Network's audience, giving WowWee UK a fantastic platform to launch their new range of products."

Graham Spark, sales director, Wowwee UK commented: “This comprehensive relaunch programme means that Electronic Test Tube Aliens are back for sure.

"Our partnership with Turner Media Innovations is a perfect, highly targeted and engaging showcase where boys can learn about the invasion."
