The company’s development team has been locked in Wallace’s workshop, working with creator, Nick Park and his team to create the range of Cracking Contraptions.

Staying true to the films, these contraptions will be designed to create complex solutions to simple problems. Cracking Contraptions is a range of unique gadgets and gizmos that will be supported at retail through video and real-life demonstrations.

Richard North, managing director of Wow! Stuff said: “The reaction from our test market was crazy. Both adults and children loved the product concepts and all agreed there was nothing quite like them; practical products, over engineered for purpose in typical Wallace & Gromit fashion, yet at fantastic value price points.

"One of the test audiences described the products as huge fun and hugely endearing and we feel that sums them up well.”

Sean Clarke head of Aardman Rights added: "Wow Stuffs ability to create innovative gizmos and gadgets is second to none, so they were a natural partner to discuss developing an everyday range of Cracking Contraptions.

"The range has come together in the true spirit of the Wallace and Gromit films and we are certain they will develop into a commercial success.”

The full launch takes place at Wow! Stuff’s Hong Kong office between 24th and 31st October. Contact Jon Birch on 0870 054 6000 to book an appointment
