LEGOLAND Malaysia has become the first LEGOLAND to house the biggest-ever LEGO Death Star model, reports New Straits Times.

This Death Star is made up of over 750,000 Lego brick and 10,000 glow-in-the-dark tiles and, after a six-month stay in Malaysia, will move onto a range of different LEGOLANDs across the globe.

It took a team of eight model builders, two fabricators and a team from Legoland California five months to create the model.

Alongside the Death Star, other Lego Star Wars models gracing the park’s Miniland include other iconic moments like the confrontation between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader from A New Hope.

"We are extremely proud to be the first LEGOLAND park to house this unique model. The Star Wars Death Star model will feature prominently at our Miniland, which is known as the heart of all LEGOLAND Parks," said Siegfried Boerst, general manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia.
