Worlds Apart joins Inventors Workshop 2015

Worlds Apart has signed up as a major sponsor for this year's Inventors Workshop.

The firm will be involved in the One2One pitching sessions at this year's event, giving both new and seasoned inventors the chance to present product ideas directly to Worlds Apart.

“Our primary reason for signing up as major sponsor is to let the inventor community know that Worlds Apart has developed significant global distribution and market share in not only the toy sector, but also in the home and leisure sectors, and that we are very much open for business if presented with innovative product solutions that make living with kids easier & more fun”, said Simon Birchenough, a partner at Worlds Apart.

“Unlike promotional novelty toys, these products can have long life cycles and sales longevity, and even if an inventor doesn’t have a particular product to show us, we’d welcome an opportunity to share some insight to kick-start a project for future collaboration.

“Unlike many other toy companies, we spend a lot of time looking at the needs and challenges of actually living with young children in this changing world. This unique insight drives our product development briefs and has helped make us market leaders in many lifestyle & leisure categories, including kids beds, furniture and lighting, indoor and outdoor active play and the award winning range of Ready Bed products."

This year’s Inventors Workshop will be at held at Whittlebury Hall in Northampton on Tuesday, September 22nd 2015.

The event will see some of most innovative and influential toy and game manufactures, technology companies and financial houses present, discuss and connect with over 150 inventors expected at the one-day conference.
