Worlds Apart hires Group Sales Director

Firm appoints Vance Withers to the position.

Withers has worked with Worlds Apart on a project consultant basis since 2004, carrying out management development workshops and putting in place coaching and development programs.

His training workshops, organised through Pursuit NHA where Vance has worked as senior consultant for 11 years, are known to many in the toy industry.

Withers' new and permanent role will be highly strategic and will help shape and expand both the national and International sales teams at Worlds Apart.

He will also provide valuable insight and helping develop relationships and opportunities with new market places as the company continues to focus on its core business plan. His remit will see Withers contribute at board level.

Managing director Neil Shinner said: “We are delighted that Vance has agreed to join us. His input as a consultant over the past two years has been highly valuable in giving our team clarity and direction as our business has extended into new channels.
