Worlds Apart grabs Little Charley Bear

Firm adds Chapman Entertainment's new pre-school brand to its licensing portfolio.

The deal will see Worlds Apart focus on my first play and furniture ranges for the property with products launching next year including pop-up tents, ball pits, interactive electronic mats, My First Ready Beds, inflatable chairs, flip out sofas, MDF toy boxes, soft storage, plus MDF desks and stools.

Worlds Apart will also be developing product based on Little Charley Bear for its TV advertised Go Glow range.

Lucy Wynn-Jones, marketing manager for Worlds Apart said: “Little Charley Bear is a great fit for Worlds Apart, with imagination being key. We are really excited to be working with the team at Chapman on this property.”

Chapman has also signed bedding and accessories specialist, Zap, for the property.

Chapman Entertainment’s commercial and finance director, Andrew Haydon, commented: “Zap is a quality supplier of licensed bedding in the UK, and are very well known and respected in the industry. We are thrilled that Little Charley Bear is to be added to their pre-school portfolio.

"It is also great to be able to refresh our relationship with Worlds Apart (our licensee on Fifi and Roary), and we look forward to building a successful partnership with both companies on Little Charley Bear.”
