Worlds Apart celebrates ReadyBed's tenth anniversary

The firm has unveiled online campaign, the ReadyBed Saturday Sleepover, aimed at parents.

The dedicated website, suggests parents and their friends or family get together to arrange Saturday sleepovers for the kids in turn, so that each set of parents gets to enjoy an undisturbed night.

Worlds Apart’s in-house team has designed a downloadable ‘club pack’ with suggestions for a successful arrangement, including a date booking planner/calendar, sleepover vouchers to trade with other families, plus lots of tips and hints for holding the perfect sleepover.

The idea was generated following a survey carried out by Worlds Apart, revealing that seven out of ten parents wished they could have more undisturbed evenings with their partner.

Marketing manager, Lucy Wynn Jones, said: “We were keen to mark the tenth anniversary of ReadyBed in a really meaningful way. The Sleepover Club aimed at the parents gaining some benefits as well as the kids having fun is a perfect Worlds Apart campaign.

“Since our research shows what parents’ seem to crave the most, is a romantic meal for two and a lie-in the next morning, we think this money saving and fun for kids idea is a winner.”
