Worlds Apart announces Tech4Kids partnership

The kids lighting specialists pair up in a trans-Atlantic development and distribution deal.

A strategic partnership has been agreed between Worlds Apart and the Canadian supplier Tech4Kids.

Worlds Apart believes that Tech4Kids' range of licensed toys and novelty lighting products will 'perfectly complement' its Go Glow line.

Tech4Kids' full range of licensed products - including The Spider-Man Mega Light (pictured) - will be available to UK retailers in January 2012.

"As we develop our distribution and channel marketing resources, with more & more TV in the mix, so we are looking for new distribution partners. However, we always look for a strong strategic fit, in terms of both product category & development philosophy," said Worlds Apart’s marketing director Andy Cooper.

Brad Peterson of Tech4Kids said: "Worlds Apart is best in its class and clearly dominates the toy lighting category in the UK and we are keen to benefit from their extensive experience and broader distribution channels."
