Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment has declared nominations for the 15th Annual Wonder Women Awards now open.
The awards aims to honour the top female executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs and change-makers throughout the industries for their accomplishments and impact with the toy, licensing and entertainment industries.
Award winners will be announced and celebrated at WIT’s annual Wonder Women Awards Gala on Sunday, February 17th 2019 at Pier 60, Chelsea Piers in New York. It coincides with the New York International Toy Fair.
The gala is attended by top executives from the world’s leading companies in the kids’ global toy market.
From now through to October 31st this year, anyone may nominate a colleague, friend, themselves of any woman who has made an impact in toys, licensing or entertainment. This year’s categories include Creator/Inventor, Licensing, Manufacturing, Marketing/PR, Sales, Social Responsibility and Rising Star.
Wonder Women Award Nominee Finalists will be announced in late November and will be determined by a vote of the WIT Board of Directors, Advisory Board, Chapter Chairs and the WIT Nominations Committee.
Final voting for the winners will begin mid-December and will be conducted by WIT members, board members and key industry influencers.
