Following the successful launch on CBeebies in May, RDF has also announced that from July 27th, the series will be broadcast daily.

Currently airing twice a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with repeats on Sundays, Waybuloo has already achieved an average share of 2.4 per cent, proving to be one of the highest rating new show launches for the year.

The show also has an average share of nearly 16 per cent of parents and carers with pre-school children.

Nigel Pickard, group director of Children's, Family Entertainment and Drama at RDF said: ‘This is a fantastic start and with the programme being broadcast daily from the end of July we will really see this property gain amazing momentum.

“This already follows the announcement that CBeebies have commissioned a further 50 episodes bringing the total to 150 commissioned which really goes to demonstrate the confidence in this property.’

“We’re delighted with Waybuloo’s performance and that it is proving to be so popular with pre-schoolers. Now with daily broadcasts, the start of series two and the launch of the product ranges in the autumn, Waybuloo has huge potential and has only just begun.’

Autumn/winter will see the launch of the Waybuloo toy range from Fisher-Price, along with books from Egmont and DVDs from 2 Entertain.

With a further 15 additional licensees rolling out products from spring/summer 2010 there will be a wide range of merchandise available.

RDF Kids & Family holds worldwide rights in all media in the property and will distribute Waybuloo to the global pre-school market.
