VTech has revealed the new additions to the bestselling InnoTab range with the InnoTab 3S and the InnoTab 3.

The InnoTab 3S is a multi-media tablet complete with an improved rotatable 2 mega pixel camera, rechargeable battery pack and new Wi-Fi features.

With the InnoTab 3S, children can access a Kid Safe Web Browser and an exclusive Kid Connect communication application. Kids can use this to send photos, pictures and voice recordings to friends and parents and alongside tablet-to-tablet, they can now send media tablet-to-mobile.

Children can also use the device to download e-books, games, videos and music wirelessly from VTech’s online Learning Lodge hub.

The InnoTab 3S has an RSP of £99.99 and is due to hit shelves in September.

Vtech is also releasing the InnoTab 3, which, without the Wi-Fi features of the 3S, has a lower price of £69.99.

The InnoTab 3 will come out in August and features a 4.3” LCD touch screen, 2 mega pixel rotatable camera, D-pad control, 15 applications and is compatible with the rechargeable battery pack.

Like the 3S, the InnoTab 3 can connect to VTech’s Learning Lodge to download extra material.

As pioneers in electronic learning, we are committed to staying ahead of the curve, harnessing adult technology and bringing it to children in a safe and engaging way,” said Clive Richardson, Marketing Director at VTech.

The InnoTab 3S and 3 are revolutionary multimedia tablets that deliver a plethora of content to children’s finger tips for under £100.

“In addition to this the choice of different price points and the option of the rechargeable battery pack are examples of how we have responded to what InnoTab fans wanted. This helps us fulfil our promise to make learning fun and technology affordable.”
