A 30 second competition spot, created by Nickelodeon’s in-house creative services, will air on the channel over a four week period during the summer holidays.
The activity begins tomorrow and will highlight the different functions and features of the camera.
Online advertising at nickjr.co.uk will run alongside the TV activity, giving children the chance to upload photos to the website and win a camera.
VTech’s marketing manager, Emma Eden said: “Kidizoom is a fun packed product and the advertising promotion with Nick Jr ties in with its unique creative features. The promotion will drive sales of Kidizoom outside of the key Christmas selling period.”
A national press campaign has already begun with activity in national newspaper supplements and other high circulation titles. The campaign will run up to Christmas.
