VTech has agreed a two year extension to its current Hello Kitty licence.

VTech Baby will continue its line of Hello Kitty products and the Sanrio character will now star on VTech's pre-school electronic learning platforms as part of the new deal.

Matthew Shaw, VTech product manager said: "VTech is so pleased to have renewed the deal and excited about the development into pre-school electronic learning Hello Kitty with VTech.

"The product I am most looking forward to seeing is the new Hello Kitty software for InnoTab, there will be some really cute creativity activities and games and also an e-book to keep children entertained on VTech's newest multi media tablet."

Stefano Mastropietro, Sanrio EMEA vice president, said: "We are glad to extend the collaboration with VTech and to broaden the offer of products that are always innovative and produced on very high quality standards.
