VTech bolsters wearable tech range with Kidizoom Action Cam

Allows users to take photos and videos and comes with a waterproof case and mounts for bikes, skateboards, scooters and more.

VTech is expanding its wearable tech category this year with the launch of its new Kidizoom Action Cam, a camera that encourages kids to get active.

Aimed at kids aged five and upwards, the camera allows users to take photos and videos and comes with a waterproof case and mounts for bikes, skateboards, scooters and more.

The Kidizoom Action Cam was unveiled to kids at a special event held at White Grounds Skate Park, where children were given the chance to try out the camera’s functions with the help of extreme sports professionals, Team Extreme.

“Kids were able to mount their Kidizoom Action Cam on to a bike, skateboard or scooter and lean special tricks taking their own personal images and videos throughout the day,” said Clive Richardson, marketing director at VTech.

“We are really excited for the launch of VTech’s new Kidizoom Action Cam, the latest addition to the Kidizoom range as well as the growing wearable tech category.”
