Vivid's Thunderbirds Are Go range will be showcased on the ToyTesters.tv Tour, hosted by Hamleys this summer.
Children will have the opportunity to get their hands on all the products in the range, including action figures, vehicles and the Tracey Island play-set.
Kids will be testing them out and give their expert opinions on them in all three Tour locations: Glasgow, Manchester and Regent Street.
A branded competition will encourage children to get into the role of their favourite Thunderbirds Are Go character in order to win one of the five sets of products available in each Hamleys store involved in the Tour.
“Hamley Toy Shop has been celebrating bringing toys to life for 255 years from 1760 to 2015, what better way to celebrate than by showcasing one of the most iconic toys of this generation," said Grant Yuill, marketing manager at Hamleys.
"Hamleys are proud to give customers the chance to play with the Thunderbirds Are Go Tracy Island Play-set this summer.”
Kerry Paternoster, marketing manager at Vivid, added: “2015 is a defining year for retro brands with a host of TV and toy comebacks planned this Summer to delight not only the original fans but also a whole new generation.
"Thunderbirds Are Go blasted onto our screens across CITV this Spring and has paved the way for the hotly anticipated launch of a range of interactive vehicles, action figures and playsets based on scenes and characters from the series.
"The defining play-set in the range is the all new Interactive Tracy Island, one of the most iconic toys of all time. Parents who remember having the play-set first time around can introduce Tracy Island to their children and get hands on during the tour with its new play features, electronic elements and sounds designed to propel the set to becoming one of the top toys for 2015.”
Gemma Gallagher, founder of ToyTesters.tv, commented: “Since the launch of our new toys news show for consumers, the Thunderbirds Are Go Tracy Island Interactive Play-set video has attracted one of largest audiences. We’ve had a significant number of comments sent to us about the toy and we can’t wait to get Tracy Island in front of children to see that they make of it themselves.
"From the comments I’ve read from consumers, I’d say it’s going to be massive this Christmas. Not only because it’s nostalgic appeal, but because it allows children to role-play, use their imagination and transform themselves into one of their favourite characters they’ve seen in the superb new Thunderbirds Are Go television series on CITV. But let’s wait and see what the experts say, our Toy Testers.”
