Vivid Imaginations will distribute the ToyQuest master toy line in the UK and Ireland for the movie Monsters vs Aliens from DreamWorks Animation.

The line will include a range of products across multiple categories of action figures, vehicles, playsets, role play products, plush, youth electronics, seasonal toys and activity sets. The entire line will be available at retail prior to Easter next year and will be heavily TV advertised. TLC will manage the third party licensing programme in the UK.

The film is the studio’s first full-length feature produced in both CGI and 3D versions and is scheduled for Easter 2009 launch in UK and Ireland cinemas .

"We are very excited about working on Monsters vs Aliens product line because the movie is very toyetic and very funny," stated Nick Austin, Vivid CEO.

"Moreover there is very little competitive movie activity next Easter, so there is a perfect window for retailers to support and benefit from the marketing support of DreamWorks, Vivid and all other licensees and partners."
