US TOY FAIR: Now Wonder Forge joins Ninja Turtles push

Firm secures multi-year game licensing rights to Nickelodeon property.

Wonder Forge is showcasing its new line of games based on Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles property this week at New York Toy Fair.

Hitting retail from spring, the range will include Flying Attack skill and action board game and Clash Alley strategy board game.

"We were huge fans of the original series and couldn't resist the opportunity to bring to life these captivating characters and adventure-filled stories in game form," said Joel Berman, head of business development and licensing at Wonder Forge.

Manuel Torres, SVP, global toys and consumer electronics, Nickelodeon, added: "Wonder Forge brings great innovation to the games category in the toy industry, and we are thrilled to partner with them to develop Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles signature board games."
