The show has been broadcast in the US since summer 2009 and is gaining recognition among industry peers as well as receiving a strong reception from its young audience.

Winners for the awards will be announced in late June.

The series is set for its broadcast debut on Cartoon Network in the UK on June 7th, with pre-promotion starting this month.

The schedule includes twice daily airings on weekdays and four times daily at weekends, meaning it will deliver over 500 airings in 2010.

Battle Force 5 showcases the racing adventures of a group of elite drivers in five ultra-cool, ultra-fast vehicles as they work together in a fantasy world to save earth from outrageous galactic predators.

Mattel is set to launch a collection of vehicles, track-sets and figures based on the wealth of exciting characters, cars and environments in August.

A dedicated website with online traffic driving campaign, as well as a series of events, DVD inserts and print partnerships will support the launch.
