The uniquely styled range, due to launch in September 2008, is emblazoned with graphics featuring the Wildcats logo.

Products comprise an 18 inch American cruiser-style frame Wildcats Bike; a 28 inch Wildcats skate board; Retro-style Wildcats quad skates; a Wildcats inline scooter and a BMX-style Wildcats helmet.

The company is adding the range to its existing Disney licensed products - Disney Princess, Power Rangers and Cars.

Exclusive lines for Woolworth’s and Argos have also been developed and are due to launch this month.

Andy Lloyd, product development manager at Universal Cycles, said: “We were delighted to have been awarded the High School Musical licence, continuing our long and successful association with Disney.

"High School Musical’s ability to engage the minds of children the world over, combined with Universal Cycles’ quality and reliability, guarantees Toys R Us a sure fire winner. What’s more, the affordable prices bring the range within reach of all family budgets.”

Designed to the highest standards, the range is compliant with all European and British quality standards and is manufactured exclusively for Universal Cycles in their factories around the world.
