Leading 3-1, the team held off a late comeback by Lego who brought the score back to 3-2, to win the Cup competition.

The Plate competition, a knockout tournament for teams that did not qualify for the Cup in the group stages, was won by Grant & Bowman, who brought some vociferous support with them and beat Hasbro convincingly in the final.

16 teams entered, raising some £1,600 for the Toy Trust and entries are already being taken for next year's competition. More details and pics will appear in the August issue of ToyNews.
