Toys firms nominated at Licensing Awards 2011

Bandai, Vivid and Underground Toys among those up for the best toy and games range award.

A raft of toy and games companies have been nominated for an accolade at this September's Licensing Awards.

In the Best Licensed Toys or Games Range, Bandai is nominated for its Ben 10 Ultimate Alien range; Learning Curve for Chuggington Interactive; HTI for Hello Kitty Roleplay Toys; Vivid for Moshi Monsters Soft Toys and Talking Monsters; Character for its Peppa Pig Toy range and Underground Toys for its Star Wars Talking Plush toys.

Contenders in the Best Dress-up and Party category include Smiffys, Rubie’s Masquerade and Gemma International.

In other categories, toys up for the Best Licensed Written, Listening or Learning Range award are VTech’s Buzz Lightyear Learn & Go and Inspirationworks’ Peppa Pig Electronic Learning Range.

The Play That Tune Board Game from Imagination Games has been nominated for The Innovation Award.
