ToyNews has launched a Fight the Fakes campaign to help prevent counterfeit toys hitting the market.

We will work with the National Fraud Intelligence Bureau (NFIB), a government-funded initiative run by the City of London Police, the IP Crime Unit, as well as toy companies and industry bodies.

Millions of counterfeit toys are seized in Europe each year. We will help publicise and prevent counterfeit products from being distributed across the UK and the rest of the world.

If you're a toy company who has a problem with counterfeit toys or is taking action against them, please email us at dominic.sacco@intentmedia.co.uk.

For more information, you can discover what parents think of counterfeit toys in this article produced by youth research agency Dubit, find out what the police is doing to fight the fakes, or read our initial article on counterfeit toys and how they're affecting the industry.

Check out our upcoming March issue for a report looking at what one successful firm is doing to stop others from copying its products.
