Delegates coming along to the Toy & Game Inventors Workshop in September will now get the chance to pitch their ideas to Vivid Imaginations, with the firm confirmed as the latest event sponsor.
The firm - which confirmed in June that it will manage the sales, marketing and distribution of Drumond Park games brands in the UK and Ireland - joins Asobi, Cartamundi, Hasbro, GP Flair, John Adams, Sambro and Casdon.
In addition, Fundamentally Children and BOTI (Big on Toy Innovation) are associate sponsors of the event.
Sir Torquil Norman - the inventor of the Big Yellow Teapot and founder of Bluebird Toys - will also be speaking at the event as part of the morning conference programme.
“We’re really very excited to be part of the Toy & Game Inventors Workshop event," said Jonny Henton, development and QA director at Vivid.
"Vivid has always enjoyed very close ties with the inventor community as we find their unique position delivers both fresh thinking and strong innovation. As a global manufacturer of a very diverse range we not only welcome product concepts which complement our existing brands, but have the perfect model to turn single product ideas into new and innovative brands. We look for product ideas with a great wow-factor that can define a new brand to ensure our properties can satisfy an international audience and stand the test of time.
"We’ve been fortunate enough to work with numerous seasoned inventors as well as new innovators and between us introduced many successful new items to the world. Having recently returned to the games aisle with Drumond Park, the Toy & Game Inventors Workshop is the perfect forum for us to do just this."
The Toy & Game Inventors Workshop takes place on Monday, September 22nd at Rich Mix, Bethnal Green Road, London. Delegate tickets are priced at just £99 and they can be directly booked by clicking here.
