TOY FAIR DAILY: Underground extends Star Wars plush deal

New Doctor Who and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles soft toys also on show at Toy Fair.

Underground Toys is to continue making its Star Wars Talking Plush toys (previously a ‘Best Toy’ at the Licensing Awards) after resigning with Lucas Licensing.

Also showcasing on the Undergound stand will be the new four-inch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Talking Plush Clip-On range. A soft take on the hard-shelled turtles, these mini soft toy replicas say classic catchphrases from the show.

To celebrate this year’s 50th Doctor Who anniversary Underground has expanded its Doctor Who talking plush to feature LED light technology.

Sister company Gear For Games will also be showing Angry Birds Star Wars puzzles and bobble collectibles, the Hobbit bobble heads and Ted talking plush.

The popular ‘Pocket Pal’ voice key-chain product has also ben updated to include Mike the Knight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Doctor Who.
