TOY FAIR DAILY: Playmobil launches national competition

Firm launches The Next Episode, a competition to find the creator of the first official UK online episode.

Entrants to the competition have the opportunity to bring the world of Playmobil to life.

The winner of the competition will receive a £500 cash prize, year’s supply of Playmobil from the 2010 range and the episode shown and viewed on the official Playmobil website for one month.

A detailed brief and terms & conditions are online at www.playmobil.co.uk. All entries will be judged by the Playmobil team.

Jamie Dickinson, UK marketing manager, commented: “This is a great opportunity for people to get their creative juices flowing. It’s amazing how many fantastic Playmobil mini-videos you can already find online on places like YouTube.
