Firm signs as master toy for new animated property, The Octonauts; New product slated to launch in the UK and France in 2011

Categories included in the deal are plush, musical talking toys, vehicles, play-sets, accessories, bath and role play toys, electronic learning aids and more.

The Octonauts is an animated action adventure series for pre-schoolers aged three to five. CBeebies, TF1 and ABC Australia have all pre-bought the series and will launch the show in 2010.

The toy range is currently planned for 2011, following the broadcast debuts of the show.

The Octonauts follows a team of adventure heroes who dive into action whenever there is trouble under the sea. In a fleet of aquatic vehicles, they rescue sea creatures, explore incredible new underwater worlds, and always save the day before returning safely home.

Executive Produced by writer Stephanie Simpson and Chorion’s SVP creative Kurt Mueller, the series (52 x 11’ plus 1 x 22’ special) is currently in production and will be making its international debut in Cannes.
