Flair has revealed at Toy Fair 2011 a new deal with licensing agent CPLG to bring the popular Horrid Henry brand to toy retail.

Horrid Henry, based on characters created by author Francesca Simon, is a major multi-media brand with books selling over 16 million copies across 27 countries.

A TV series based on the IP has been nominated for three BAFTA awards, and is said to be the most popular series ever on kids’ TV show CiTV. The brand is set to grow further, with a 3D live-action film set to hit cinemas this summer.

Flair has scored a deal to launch a wide range of toys aimed at Horrid Henry fans.

Products include a Super Snooper, which allows users to listen in to conversations up to 300 feet away, as well as a Voice Changer Megaphone that distorts and changes voices.

“Flair’s brilliant range is packed full of fun. We’re launching at the end of the summer in time for the release of Horrid Henry: The Movie and I’ve placed my Super Snooper order already,” said Vickie O’Malley, UK MD at CPLG.
