ToyNews is compiling a list of the Top 50 women in the UK toy industry.

Produced in association with the Women In Toys body, the feature will recognise women from all areas within the UK toy industry. It will be published in the March issue, to coincide with International Women’s Day on March 8th.

The nomination period is open now – and you have until January 31st to suggest a colleague, a supplier, a customer or yourself to appear on the list. If you know a woman in the business who inspires, makes a difference and deserves to be recognised, please nominate her by sending details to lisa.carter@intentmedia.co.uk. The final Top 50 list will be decided in conjunction with the Women In Toys association.

“We’re looking forward to highlighting the work of women in the UK toy industry, and we’re delighted to be working with Women In Toys on this initiative,” said ToyNews’ publisher Lisa Carter.

“ToyNews is also looking forward to working closer with the Women In Toys organization going forward, with a regular monthly column set to run in the magazine and online. We applaud this organization in its efforts to celebrate the achievements of women in the toy industry and provide a professional networking environment.”

Frances Cain, founder and CEO of Daughters of History and UK chair for Women In Toys added: "Women in Toys is delighted to be working closely with ToyNews in 2014 to promote and build a strong networking chapter for women - and men - in the UK.

"We are surrounded by incredibly talented women in the UK toy industry and the Top 50 list is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge their accomplishments, while at the same time building a dynamic, professional networking group within the toy sector."
