Tomy, in association with the Britain’s Farm team, is targeting design students with a competition to refresh the Big Farm packaging.

The winner of the competition will win an internship with the company, beginnining in August this year.

Tomy is using the initiative to grow the Britain’s brand presence in the European consumer market and align the brand with the Tomy halo brand vision for 2014 and beyond.

The competition will launch in July at the New Designers Exhibition in London, where over 3,000 students will be targeted with a dedicated flyer and social media campaign with targeted PR surrounding the competition.

The team will be looking to see how the Big Farm brand is interpreted by those outside of the company, and how their design skills can be utilised to take the brand forward.

Emilia Lawes, sales and marketing manager at Tomy Agriculture, said: “Offering us a unique opportunity to harness young, fresh British design talent, this competition will bring a new outlook and sales platform to the successful Big Farm brand.

“The Tomy Agriculture division is experiencing incredible growth and it’s this success that we want to build upon and integrate within the Tomy brand portfolio while ensuring we retain the essence and heritage of the Britain’s brand.”
