The patented mattress range, with SleepCurve technology, was invented by a leading paediatric cranial osteopath.

The mattresses are designed to provide the most comfortable sleep for baby, relieving pressure on the skull and preventing/remedying Flat Head Syndrome.

The licence gives Tomy the exclusive rights to SleepCurve within the nursery market in the UK, Ireland, France and Germany, as well as first right of refusal in all other European countries.

Working in collaboration with Sprog and Philip Owen D.O., B.Sc. (Hons), a Paediatric Cranial Osteopath, Tomy has developed a range of SleepCurve mattresses with a shape that mimics the way a mother holds a baby in the crook of her arm and incorporating ‘heat flow channels’ to dissipate warm air.

The SleepCurve mattress range includes a Moses Basket Mattress, Crib Mattress, Cot Mattress and Cot Bed Mattress.

Tomy UK’s marketing manager, Antonia Rainbow, said: "Tomy is a trusted brand for parents in the nursery market, and we are always committed to offering innovative products that address the wide ranging challenges of parenting. We believe SleepCurve mattresses are one of the most groundbreaking product ranges we have ever brought to market.

“SleepCurve mattresses fit well with our existing product portfolio, and as the range has so many significant benefits, we’re delighted to help parents make confident product choices by offering SleepCurve mattresses."

SleepCurve mattresses will be available from July.
