Thumbs Up hires James Mayling

New UK national accounts manager joins the gadget and gift company from Vivid.

Thumbs Up has appointed James Mayling as UK national accounts manager, 'to manage and develop the retail business opportunities in the UK'.

Mayling (pictured) brings over eight years of toy industry experience to the role, previously working at Vivid Imaginations on accounts such as Boots, John Lewis and Debenhams. 

Mayling commented: "Working with Thumbs Up is a great opportunity for me. It is a reputable brand that prides itself on being a front-runner in the gift and gadget industry, striving to be the first to market with key trends and products. I am looking forward to breaking into new territory with the company and to building a very successful career with the business."

Prior to his time at Vivid, Mayling worked at toy and stationery distributor JA Magson.
