Thomas & Friends continues in it's spot as the UK’s number one pre-school property, according to NPD results released today.
This is the 11th year the brand has held the coveted slot which is based on EPOS data for toy sales gathered from major retailers across the country.
Rick Glankler, senior vice president, global brand management, Thomas & Thomas division, EMEA, Hit Entertainment commented:

In addition to strong toy sales, last year saw Thomas & Friends move to CG-animation, which resulted in increased TV viewership and share on Five’s Milkshake, alongside a 20 per cent rise in annual Home Entertainment sales.
As well as being the UK’s number one pre-school property, Thomas & Friends sits in pole position in other key markets around the world, including the US, Germany, Australia, Korea and Japan.
