After the obligatory delay due to an ‘overwhelming response to the Toyology 2018 Outdoor Toy Awards,’ the shortlist of finalists has been drawn.

Presenters Jaadin the Kid and Amazing Arabella, together with Toyologist, Peter Jenkinson have whittled down the finalists across the categories, with the likes of BERG Toys, Tactic Games and Plum Products making the final cut.

Other finalists include Sportspower, KidKraft, HTI, Jakks Pacific and MyRebounder. They will be joining TKC, Big Potato, Zuru, Zimpli Kids and Helix in the final judging process, alongside Parrot, Wind Design, Kettler, Recreation, Rollplay, Little Tikes, Thames and Kosmos, Spinmaster, Funrise, Flair, Feber, Iconbit, Character and Tobar.

Each company’s entry will be put through its paces by a team of over 50 Toyminators on June 17th who will then vote for the top three across each of the awards’ categories.

These winners will be published across consumer sites Mumii and Kidzcoolit as well as the Toyology website.

The presenters will also be doing their bit with category winners getting exposure across their social platforms too with a reach of over 2 million, while media partner DC Thompson will feature a DPS in both the Epic and Sweet magazines of the category overall winners.

Event organiser, Stuart Austin of Toyology, said: “It’s been incredible how much interest we have had and really sets the scene for this to just get bigger and better every year.

“The media reach we have managed to confirm has been a huge contributory factor to the amount of event entries we have received.”
