Warner Bros' The LEGO Movie Videogame has topped the UK Top 40 video game chart.

It is the sixth LEGO game to make it to the number one spot, the last being LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, reports MCV.

The LEGO Movie tie-in knocked EA's FIFA 14 from the top spot and Chart-Track states that one eighth of the UK Top 40 is currently made up of LEGO games, with five different titles appearing in the list.

The game features 90 characters from the film including Batman, Superman, Emmet and Gandalf with 15 levels to play.

Special editions of the game come with a limited edition Minifigure of 'Western Emmet', featuring the main character kitted out in a poncho, moustache and cowboy hat.
