The Entertainer sees strong early sales for Vivid's PiXL range

The Entertainer has seen Vivid's PiXL range get off to a strong start, with 'encouraging' early sales.

“We are very excited to be working in collaboration with Vivid on this unique and innovative animation product and we are encouraged with early sales reads," said Scott Norman, buyer at The Entertainer.

"We launched PiXL in January in store and online, this included our well-known branded window displays and a bespoke PiXL character display unit. I’m looking forward to seeing the PiXL range become an established brand in the tech market”.

PiXL enables kids to create their very own emojis, animations and text which they can then upload to their characters to display on their pixelated screens and bump together with friends to swap and share creations.

Kerry Paternoster, marketing manager at Vivid, added: “We are really pleased that PiXL has got off to a flying start in stores and is also achieving the recognition it deserves as such an innovative, fun product.

"We have big plans for PiXL and lots of exciting news to come.”

The range is currently being supported by an extensive TV campaign targeting kids aged seven to 12.
