The Avengers 'breathing new life' into action figures

Tesco buyer says the Hasbro figures have been a hit in the toy aisles.

With The Avengers taking over $1 billion at the worldwide box office, its no surprise to hear that the film's licensed product has also been a success.

The action figures, made by Hasbro, have been singled out for special praise by Tesco buying manager Phil Markham.

He told The Grocer: “Avengers has started strongly for us, breathing new life into the action figures market.”
