Spin Master has announced that fingerboard brand Tech Deck will continue to support skateboarding events for the remainder of 2012/13 Following the success of the recent Tech Deck Young Guns Finale.

Regional winners from Scotland and Wales made the journey to the XC Hemel Hempstead for a head-to-head to compete in the Under 16’s and 16’s and over final to find the national champions in both categories.

After tough competition in the U16s event Jordan Sharkey was named winner with Charlie Birch and Tom Tg following a close second and third respectively.

Jo Thompson, PR executive at Spin Master said: “It is a privilege for Tech Deck to be involved with grassroots skateboarding, the standard and competition gets better and better every year.”

Nic Powley, organizer and head judge commented: “With Sharkey and Charlie already picking up sponsors and coverage as a result of this tour already, it seems as though Young Guns is really achieving its aim to support young talent. Expect to see more from all of these guys in the coming years as they are your future skateboard stars without a doubt.”
