Star Wars, Frozen and Inside Out are all to join the toys-to-life market with the launch of Disney Infinity 3.0: Play without Limits.

The new launch is the third installment in the popular Infinity franchise released in 2014 that sees Disney characters brought to life in videogame settings.

Disney Infinity 3.0 now delivers three Star Wars Play Sets: one set in the time line of Episodes I to III, another during the original trilogy and the third scheduled for winter and based on the upcoming title Star Wars: The force Awakens.

Further sets in the new line will include a Disney Pixar Play Set, featuring Inside Out and Olaf from Frozen.

The new title will also feature an enhanced Toy Box with new multiplayer Toy Box Expansion Games, Toy Box Speedway and Toy Box Takeover, while classic characters such as Mickey and Minnie and Mulan will be available to fans and youngsters.

“Disney Infinity is the only game where fans can play with Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars characters together in one experience,” said James Pitaro, president of Disney Interactive.

“We worked closely with LucasFilm to deliver an authentic Star Wars game experience, featuring some of the most iconic stories and characters from the past, present and future.”

Disney Infinity 3.0 will be available for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, Wii U, PC and iOS Android.
