Character Options has announced it will promote its new Sports Stars brand with a Golden Boot campaign which will see kids hunting for golden tickets to win prizes.
Each ticket hidden in blind bags of the Series 1 Micro-figures will win a ‘fantastic football related prize’. Top of the list are training sessions with Premier League youth team coaches for the lucky winner’s school. Other prizes such as footballs, training equipment and kit bags are also up for grabs.
A multi-media Golden Boot marketing drive will see TV support in the shape of 400 TVRs, as well as a dedicated prize webpage and a print campaign with in top boys’ footy magazines, reaching estimated four million readers.
Mark Hunt, Character Options’ brand manager, said: “The Golden Boot campaign will give the fans even more reason to collect as they search for the tickets. Let’s face it, who amongst us would not have loved a visit from a professional football coach when we were kids? The prizes we have up for grabs are phenomenal.”
