Spin Master's Meccano heads to Big Bang Show

Spin Master’s Meccano is helping to inspire young engineers and scientists at this year’s Big Bang Show.

Guests will be able to get hands on with Meccano construction kits and take part in building challenges, as well as be in with a chance to win a Meccano bundle worth over £500 for their school.

Visitors can also programme and control Meccano’s Meccanoid 2.0 XL Robots on the display via the inbuilt Meccabrain and ipad app.

“The Big Bang Show offers a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with students and young people who are interested and engaged with STEM-based toys,” said Ranjit Dhutti, senior brand manager UK for Meccano at Spin Master.

"Through the show we hope to excite, captivate and inspire the future generations of scientists and engineers. With a fantastic first two days under our belt, we’re looking forward to meeting many more youngsters who will join in the fun planned throughout the rest of the show.”

The Big Bang Show takes place from 15th to 18th March at The NEC, Birmingham, and is expected to attract more that 70,000 visitors.
