Spin Master to make games based on app Temple Run

Signs a global licensing deal for card and board games with 'electronic features'.

Spin Master is the latest toy manufacturer to licence a big name app, signing up the adventure title Temple Run.

The iOS and Android game app, which has been downloaded more than 60 million times, is set to be spun into a range of games by the toy maker.

Spin Master's global licence with developer Imangi studios covers card games and board games with electronic features.

"Temple Run is an incredible hit enjoyed by tens of millions of people worldwide, and we are looking forward to this great opportunity to bring it to another medium," said Keith Shepherd, chief executive offices, Imangi Studios.

Just how Spin Master plans to translate Temple Run’s unique gameplay (see the video below) into game form is currently unclear.
