4Kids Entertainment and Chaotic USA Entertainment Group appoint Spin Master for Chaotic and celebrate EMEA launch of the game.

The agreement between the companies grants Spin Master an exclusive worldwide licence to design, develop and manufacture Chaotic toys, including action figures and collectables.

Spin Master also has the exclusive rights to market and distribute toys, excluding plush, in North America, the UK, France and Mexico. 4Kids will grant toy distribution rights to distributors for all other territories.

The first toys resulting from the appointment are scheduled to hit retail in late 2009 or early 2010.

In just over one year since its October 2007 launch in America, Chaotic has been named the number one-selling trading card game in Canada (since June 2008), and the number three position in the US (since April 2008), behind only Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! (based on retailer and distributor reports).

The companion television series, Chaotic: M’arrillian Invasion, the second season in the Chaotic animation, airs on the CW Television Network. The original series, Chaotic, also airs in the Jetix block of Toon Disney. The series is also broadcast in the UK and Mexico and is scheduled to debut on Gulli TV in France and RTL2 in Germany this spring.

4Kids Entertainment and TC Digital Games will also celebrate the official EMEA launch of the Chaotic Trading Card Game at the Nuremberg Toy Fair this year, with a launch event scheduled for Thursday, February 5th, at 17:00, at Congress Center Nuremberg (CCN) Room Athen on Level 1.
