Spin Master UK has named Sara Taylor as its new UK head of sales.

Taylor joined Spin Master just over eight years ago from Funrise International, where she spent over four years managing both the UK retailers and international distributors.

Prior to that, she enjoyed a 12 year career with Mattel, initially managing the major UK retailers, and latterly as business unit manager for Mattel’s girls toys and trade marketing divisions.

At Spin Master, Taylor joined to manage the firm's western European markets of Spain, Portugal, Greece, Nordics, GAS, Benelux and Italy, preparing the latter three markets for transition to affiliate status. She then moved onto Eastern Europe.

'Sara is truly thrilled to be taking on this new challenge to lead our UK Sales and work closely with the team here in Bourne End and our of course our valued retail customers,' read a statement from Spin Master.

'Her experience of success in over 25 years in the UK and International Toy Trade gives her a great platform to help continue the outstanding growth seen here at Spin Master UK. We look forward to introducing her as part of our UK Leadership Team alongside Phil Hooper (commercial director marketing), and Hedley Barnes (GM Northern Europe) during the upcoming customer previews and fairs.'
