Spin Master Entertainment to develop new pre-school series

Firm teams up with Little Airplane Productions to create Stella Takes The Stage.

Spin Master Entertainment, a division of Spin Master, will produce the new pre-school series which encourages self-knowledge among pre-schoolers, that will feature a new animation style called Theatre Arts Animation.

Josh Selig, president and founder, Little Airplane Productions commented: “Little Airplane is thrilled to be partnering with Spin Master on this innovative new pre-school show. 



“They are a young, energetic and extremely creative team. We look forward to working on this series as partners and bringing it to the market together in early 2010."

Stella Takes The Stage, is about a charismatic little girl who shares the big events of her life with the viewer from an ever-changing paper stage.

The series will combine elements of traditional theatrical stagecraft with computer animation. 

The new visual style, called Theatre Arts Animation is a new animation style being developed by Little Airplane for exclusive use on this series.

The theme of Stella Takes The Stage is self-knowledge and the educational curriculum is by child-development expert Dr. Laura Brown (The Wonder Pets, Ni-Hao Kai Lan).
