Spin Master debuts new line-up of Meccano robots at CES 2016

Spin Master has expanded its range of Meccano robots at CES 2016, with a line-up of new droids.

The range includes a T-Rex dinosaur and two smaller robots that users can build themselves, as well as three smaller machines.

The Meccanoid G16 and G16 KS (pictured above) come with various improvements compared to the G15 that launched last year. It comes with faster voice recognition, twice as much memory and improved programming capabilities.

In addition, the T-Rex inspired droid, called Meccasaur, is also fully-programmable and comes with a security mode function, to guard and protect a user’s things.

Lastly, the three mini versions, called Micronoids, can all be programmed to sing, dance and navigate obstacle courses, as well as interact with each other.

“The Meccano and Air Hogs products that we are debuting at CES 2016 demonstrate our passion for transforming play, and encouraging children to explore toys and games that build their knowledge in the important STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) space."

Spin Master also unveiled a refreshed line of its Air Hogs, with Air Hogs Connect.
