Spin Master has become the master toy licensee for DreamWorks' Dragons: Riders of Berk.

The exclusive licensing relationship will see Spin Master produce toys based on the upcoming franchise properties, including the aforementioned TV series and a movie sequel, as revealed by ToyNews last year.

Spin Master previously served as master toy partner for the Academy Award nominated How to Train Your Dragon film which launched in 2009.

This autumn a toy line inspired by the 2012 debut of Cartoon Network’s DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk will hit shelves. The show consistently ranks as number one among boys aged six to 11 since its premiere, says Spin Master.

One of the line’s featured items is the Giant Fire Breathing Toothless toy, which creates amazing blue “fire” and “steam” which Spin Master says "must be seen to be believed".
