A new world record for the fastest time to solve the now iconic Rubik’s Cube has been set.
Brainiac, Collin Burns has taken the title when he solved the Cube in a rapid 5.25 seconds, wiping 0.3 seconds off of the previous world record, set by Mats Valk in 2013.
Burns, from the USA, performed the feat to claim the world record at a World Cubing Association competition in Pennsylvania, where he smashed his previous best time of 5.93 seconds, which had previously put him in fifth place.
Burns is the current reigning US Champion following a win at the US Nationals in August last year.
